Tania Cheng is a professional classical and pop violinist, as well as a piano and violin teacher. She was a graduate of University of Toronto, with a double degree in Music and Education from Teacher's College. As a double specialist in piano and violin at Yamaha Music School and Soundbox Studios, Tania is also on the teacher training team where she conducts annual seminars in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver schools to train new teachers. Often invited as a guest performer at public and private events, Tania is a vibrant violinist performing across the GTA, giving back the gift of music to the community.

Tania teaches students ages 2 to adult, and regularly prepares her students for music examinations (RCM, Yamaha), competitions and school auditions. Her teaching has an individualized approach based on student needs, and focuses on developing a strong foundation and effective practice methods so that her students can be independent and expressive with a sense of musicality.
