Joyce started piano at the age of 4, studying in both music conservatories in Hong Kong and Canada. She has recently completed her RCM level 10 while participating in music festivals and was active in her school musical performances and Kiwanis competitions. She is also experienced in brass instruments such as the trumpet and tuba on top of her piano studies.



Joyce is passionate about music and loves to inspire students’ interest in the field. She hones into building appreciation of music and focuses on practical improvements, including playing techniques and musicianship training. She is confident in her abilities to adjust her teaching style and patiently tweak the learning progression to each individual student with different learning preferences accordingly.

Joyce is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto and is willing to accept aspiring students.
